Late returns may be subject to additional charges as outlined in Clause 5.

3. Rental Rate & Payment

Total Rental Fee: € 35
Security Deposit: €10

The security deposit will be fully refunded to the renter (lessee) if the scooter is returned on time, undamaged, andall terms and conditions of the rental agreement are respected.

4. Terms of Use

The Lessee agrees:

To operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable traffic laws and only within Portugal.
Not to allow any other person to operate the scooter.
To return the scooter in the same condition it was rented, excluding normal wear and tear.
Not to use the vehicle for racing, off-road use, or illegal activities.
To always wear a helmet while operating the scooter.
To only use the vehicle within Portugal.

The scooter must not be used:

Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
For commercial use or racing
Off-road or on unauthorized terrain
By persons without a valid driver’s license

5. Late Return & Cancellation Policy

Late returns will incur a fee of €15 if delivered on the same day as the return date.
The delivery after the return date is strictly forbidden to avoid the disruption of the business and cause harm to other clients. It will be fined with a value of 50€ per day.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start may be subject to a penalty of up to 50% of the rental fee.

6. Insurance & Liability

The scooter is covered by third-party liability insurance applicable to rental services.
The Lessee is responsible for all traffic fines, tolls, and legal penalties during the rental period.
In the event of an accident, damage, or theft, the Lessee must notify the Lessor immediately and file a police report within 24 hours.
Damages caused by negligence, drunk driving, or breach of contract terms are not covered and must be fully compensated by the Lessee.
In case of damage or theft, the renter is liable up to €2000 unless premium insurance has been purchased.
Loss or damage to the helmet, keys, or documents will incur additional charges.
A €25 administration fee applies for each fine handled by the rental company.

7. Cancellation & Refund

Cancellations made up to five (5) days prior to the scheduled rental start date will not incur any cancellation fee.
A cancellation fee amounting to twenty-five percent (25%) of the Total Rental Cost (excluding the Security Deposit) will be applied if the Renter cancels the booking within the period of four (4) days to forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled rental start date.
A cancellation fee amounting to fifty percent (50%) of the Total Rental Cost (excluding the Security Deposit) will be applied if the Renter cancels the booking less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled rental start date.
Cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled rental start date are not permitted, and no refund will be issued. Failure to collect the scooter without prior notice within this period (“No-Show”) will also result in the forfeiture of the Total Rental Cost.

8. Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned on time and in the same condition.
The scooter is rented with a full tank and must be returned with the same. Otherwise, a refueling fee of € 25 applies.
Late returns will incur a fee of €15 if delivered on the return date.
The return of the vehicle a day after the return date is strictly forbidden to avoid the disruption of the business and cause harm to other clients.
Late return of the vehicle after the Return Date will incur a fee of 50€ per day.
Loss or damage to the helmet, keys, or documents will incur additional charges.

9. Deposit, Damages & Other Fees

The security deposit will be returned within 48 hours of return, provided no damage or violation has occurred.
In case of damage, repair costs will be deducted from the deposit. If damages exceed the deposit, the Lessee is liable for the difference.
In case of any fees or penalties incurred by the driver will be deducted from the deposit. If fees incurred exceed the deposit, the Lessee is liable for the difference.

10. Termination

The Lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental and repossess the scooter without notice in case of breach of any terms of this Agreement.

11. Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Setubal or Lisbon Districts.

12. Acknowledgement

By signing this Agreement, the Lessee confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions herein.
